This is the generation 2 of the popular Resonator silencer.  This suppressor is designed to be used as a quick detach OR direct thread -- whichever you prefer.  It comes with the QD system but if you want to be able to direct-thread it, you simply purchase/use the direct thread insert (YHM part YHM-2145) or one of many other manufacturer's 1 3/8x24 mounts.
