Are you looking for an affordable way to start building a high quality semi-auto 22 LR, look no further than the Volquartsen Replacement Receivers for the Ruger 10/22. Our receivers are CNC-machined (no castings) from a solid billet of either aircraft quality aluminum or 416 stainless steel. The alloy receiver is then hard anodized to provide for years of enjoyable shooting!!

The CNC-machining process eliminates the burrs and rough surfaces that can be found in cast receivers. These burrs can create a drag on the bolt which can affect the performance of the rifle. The receiver is designed to be used with both Ruger factory bolts and trigger guards or, for the ultimate shooting performance, it is also compatible with our TG2000 trigger guard and our CNC Competition Bolt.

The barrel is installed using our new tapered cone bushing installation system (available on stainless steel model only). The tapered cone bushing prevents downward canting typically found on 10/22 barrel installation. It can be used with any 10/22 barrel and will assure a concentric tight fit from barrel to receiver. Threading is no longer needed to achieve the tight fit necessary for optimum accuracy.

Includes a hardened steel V-locking block, retaining screws and a hex head take-down action screw. This receiver is a must for any shooter looking to build up a semi-auto 22 LR rifle.
